Cherry Pod, escape to tranquillity in our beautiful, Scandi style, hand crafted Pod. Nestled in the countryside yet on the edge of Town, this cosy retreat sleeps up to 4 guests in comfort with a double and bunk beds. Unwind in nature without sacrificing luxury. Experience the thrill of camping with comfortable beds, electricity, and thoughtful amenities. Cherry Pod is our third cabin and is a short walk up the Tree Trunk gravel path from the parking area. It's modern, bright, Scandi style has all the amenities required for a relaxing stay in The Peak District As you approach the cabin along the gravel path you will see a few steps up to the entrance & large decked area. To the right of the pod is a gravelled patio area with a fire pit & hand crafted wooden bench for use during your stay. Entering the cabin you will be greeted on the right by the comfortable sofa, & on the left by the flat screen TV & circular table with 4 x seats for dining or family games. On the right is the comfortable double bed & above it there, an infrared heater to keep you cosy during cooler nights. Just behind the bedhead is a built in open wardrobe with hanging rail and shelves. next to that and at the back are the amazing Bunk beds that have been hand crafted and incorporate ladder style foot-holes. These bunks can accommodate 2 children or adults. You may ned to supervise young children up and down the ladder. On the left hand side is the well equipped kitchen area and at the rear left of the pod is the bathroom with WC, sink & shower cubicle. Finally - there is the view from the double bed through the large glazed patio doors onto the decking area and beyond to the wonderful trees, valley and hill side in the distance.

Me and three girl friends booked Cherry Pod last minute as it was reasonably priced and in a good location, and it was one of our birthdays. We were so pleasantly surprised with the cabin. We were worried the bunks wouldn’t be big enough but they were huge, the pod was more than big enough for four adults and our bags (we are overpackers too). Sarah provided us with a birthday banner, a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some little biscuits. She even asked dietary requirements. Toiletries, towels, and milk was also provided. Fire lighters and wood was provided but the previous guests had taken the lighter, so I messaged Sarah and her husband brought us one within about 4 minutes. She responds very quickly which was super helpful. The deck area and firepit is lovely and the view from the bed of the hills was beautiful. 10/10. I would actually go back here and I rarely want to go back to the same place twice. Definitely recommend cherry pod! P.S. Ladygrove walk was lovely and nearby!
We were a family of 4 staying in Cherry Pod for a couple of nights in the Easter holidays. And what a glorious little find this was. Amazing shepherds hut, the best we have stayed in by far, on a gorgeous little field with 3 other pods but totally private from the others. Sarah and Paul were wonderful hosts, excellent comms and recommendations. The pod itself was exactly as described and equipped superbly with everything you could possibly need including the simple things like cloths, soaps, tea towels, shampoo etc. They went the extra mile and on arrival we had some lovely little surprises like a bottle of bubbles for my birthday, some lovely birthday bunting, some biccies and milk and other treats, really lovely. They even supplied natural fire lighters and wood for the fire pit. Cannot recommend this place enough, absolutely brilliant!
We enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay. The pod was cosy, clean and well equipped. Great location for exploring the Peak District.
We had a fantastic family stay at this Airbnb! The space was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living area, every detail was thoughtfully provided. Our family enjoyed great bonding time in this lovely space. The host was also very accommodating. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway! 👍
We had a great stay in this new, well-equipped glamping pod. Excellent communication from host and thoughtful extras. Peaceful surroundings and walkable to the town centre if you don’t mind a few hills. Would definitely use again if back in the area.
