Nestled in the tranquil countryside yet on the edge of Town, this cosy retreat sleeps up to 4 guests plus 1 pooch, offering outdoor adventure & modern comfort. Unwind surrounded by nature without sacrificing luxury, experience the thrill of camping with comfort, electric, and thoughtful amenities. Apple Pod is the first cabin next to the parking area, so it's a short walk with your luggage, it's very modern and has all the amenities required for a relaxing stay in The Peak District As you approach the cabin along the gravel path there is a canopy over the entrance & patio area, there is also an outdoor Chiminea wood burning fire for use during your stay. Entering the cabin you will be greeted on the left by the comfortable sofa bed, flat screen TV, cosy electric fire & a large round window that frames the fantastic views across the valley. In front of you will be what looks like a picture on the wall, this is actually an infrared heater to keep you cosy during cooler nights You will also notice a dining table, which you can use for eating or family fun with card games On the right you will see the kitchen area, then next to that is the bathroom with WC, sink & shower cubicle. Now - up to the mezzanine level via the Tree Trunk spiral staircase, where you will experience a tree house feeling up in the canopy and you will find 2 single beds which can also be pushed together to create a super- king bed ( upon request) and a port hole window so you can gaze out at the surrounding trees & fields.

What a little gem. Booked for my partners birthday with the kids and it was just perfect. They especially enjoyed sleeping in their little tree house (as they called it). They would like to go back every weekend. Location was perfect on the edge of Wirksworth but when in the pod it was surrounded by fields and trees so a perfect mix. I especially loved the round windows which seemed to frame the countryside perfectly. The pod was full of everything you need and was absolutely spotless. To be fair I'd like to go back every weekend too 😊 Lovely and peaceful weekend. Thank you 😁
Perfect little pod! Could not ask for anything more from Sarah and Paul. Made the three of us feel very welcome🐶. We will definitely be visiting again.
We had 2 lovely nights in Apple pod. Perfect location for exploring, our kids really enjoyed the quirky style of the accomodation and loved the beds on the mezzanine floor. Sarah was super helpful. Would love to go back!
Well worth the money for this beautiful little cabin. My boys didn’t want leave ‘our little home’. They were in love with the wooden plank stairs and unique little treehouse like bedroom upstairs. The views were lovely, just hills for days! Host gave us so much info before coming, left plenty complimentary snacks and drinks for me and the kids, stocked the kitchen with basics which meant I could have a cuppa after our long trip and even showed us around the place before leaving, as I was quite curious! Location was everything, 10 minute drive from the heights of Abraham, mining museum with cave tours and the little town was like a little picturesque seaside without the sea. The little place seem spacious with the big circular windows and and it was private due to the few cabins and space around them, but also not isolated due to the others in the cabins. So wasn’t too scary taking them alone!
We really enjoyed our stay, Apple Pod was exactly as described. The children loved their tree house bedroom, and the welcome treats were a lovely surprise. Sarah and Paul were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you from The Grays x
