We had a lovely stay in Frome on Castle Street! A great location and a really comfortable cottage with a lovely courtyard garden at the back. The accommodation was really comfortable and we felt like we had a bit of luxury. We went with our two year old who enjoyed all the space and looking at the books on the book shelves - a great collection! Thanks so much! Fay
The accommodation is very lovely, well renovated. There are some little niggles with it being an older character building, for example stiff doors and windows/tricky getting the temperature balanced. We felt right at home though and it was comfortable for myself, my husband, our son and two grandparents. Grandma was very impressed with the book collections! Property could do with a few extra handy things (eg more cutlery) which I have passed on to the host. Parking was ok for one / two small to medium cars but a bit of a faff for larger cars or those who aren’t confident with navigating tight roads/parallel street parking. Car share if you can! Perfect base for Stonehenge, Longleat and Bath! Frome has a lot of quirky little shops, pleasant to walk around and there are convenient grocery shops near the house. Chip shop over the road was great!
Lovely house, well presented and just a short walk to town centre. Plenty of room for 8 people. Lovely little courtyard with no fear of our dog escaping. Great communication from hosts and Nikki was very quick to respond when I had difficulty with the heating. Matresses were too firm for our liking and windows fitted with venetian blinds so take an eye mask if you like a dark bedroom. Parking on street is limited but I managed to find a space on the next street after unloading.
