Recently remodeled guesthouse on a quiet street near the heart of downtown Wilmington! Located in the Soda Pop District, you'll find several great breweries, coffee houses, and restaurants within a few blocks. After an afternoon of fun at the beach or visiting downtown shops and restaurants, kick back on the spacious front porch with a drink and fire or perhaps hang out on the comfy couch and enjoy some TV. No matter what brings you to our charming city, we hope you feel right at home. The guesthouse is completely separate from the main house, so the entrance is private. The property includes a full kitchen and full bedroom suite with queen bed and ample storage. For those with pets, there is a fully fenced-in side yard. The porch is awesome for enjoying the beautiful Wilmington nights! There is also a grill and patio in the side yard for guests to enjoy. We want you to feel right at home!

Really enjoyed our stay. Especially loved the pet friendly touches. They provided dog bowls, a treat, dog bags, and wipes. It was really thoughtful and helpful. Also really enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Great hosts and great place to stay if you’re looking to be within walking distance of downtown but also enjoy some peace and quiet.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would probably have extended if it had been available but that just goes to show how coveted this little jem of a home is!! It was a great home-away-from-home stay as I waited for my new place to get renovated. Great communication when there was an incident in the neighborhood (I slept through it 😴), but they wanted to ensure I felt comfortable, which I did. I just appreciated the concern but all was great!! The bed is soooooo comfortable, I actually overslept. The kitchen was well equipped for some home cooking so I was a happy girl! I appreciated that they accepted pets as I brought my 2 cats, that was a lifesaver. Highly recommend staying here at Jason's.
We loved Jason’s place. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Close by was a great breakfast cafe, a brewery, pizza and a very nice cocktail bar all in the Soda Pop district. We highly recommend Jason’s place!

We loved our stay here! Such a great town and the perfect spot for me, my husband, and our dog. Jason was so accommodating to give us an early check-in and clearly thoughtful host with a handwritten card, welcome basket, and even a treat for our puppy! They’ve definitely recently renovated the place so it has a beautiful new feel with old bones. Also it’s technically listed as a guesthouse but is completely separate from their home, so you really have the whole place to yourself. This was a great place to stay in!

The property is located in the trendy Soda Pop District in Downtown Wilmington. Within 2 blocks, you'll find Folk's Cafe and Ibis Wine and Coffee bar if you like coffee and breakfast. Folks cafe is really known for their awesome empanadas! Ibis has great biscuits and a cool vibe after dark!
For nightlife, you can't go wrong with Hi-Wire Brewing, which is only a couple of blocks away. They often have live music during the weekends and events during the week. Their variety of beers are outstanding! For food, there is an amazing Pizza place - Cogino Forno - right in front that serves homemade wood-fired pizza. You're free to bring it into the taproom to enjoy while sucking down some suds. Next door, you also have Bowstring Burgers and Brewyard.
If you're willing to drive 5 minutes, you can check out the Cargo District between 16th and 17th. They have several restaurants and bars. Our favorites are CheeseSmith, which makes mouthwatering gourmet grill cheese sandwiches. For beer or wine lovers, check out Fermental. It's a bottle shop / beer garden. So enjoy spending time there or take a great selection of beers to the guesthouse with you.

There is plenty of parking for the guesthouse on the street right in front. The 1 space if front of the garage needs to remain open as the owner does require access to the garage below.
We're only 10 blocks from Front Street (a nice 10 minute walk), where a lot of the restaurants and bars are located. There is plenty of on-street parking downtown; however, they do charge $2.50 per hour between 9 AM - 6:30 PM.
If you are heading to Wrightsville Beach, it's approximately 9 miles (20 minute drive) to Johnnie Mercers Pier. Parking is free from March 1 to Oct. 31st. The Spring - Fall, it is metered from 9 AM - 7 PM. We'd recommend parking on one of the side streets running along the beach as it's easier to find open spaces, but get there early as they do fill up.
