Take in the historic downtown McKinney while staying in our comfortable 1920s bungalow backhouse. We just redid the entire space, which includes a spacious kitchen/dining area, a bedroom with a queen bed, a sitting room, and a fully updated bathroom. We're just about a 10 minute walk from the square (6/10 mile) and right in the middle of the beautiful, old homes of McKinney.

My husband and I stayed a week in this lovely Garden Guesthouse to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and explore the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or hosts. Ryan and Georgia are amazing! They were incredible accommodating and welcoming. The guesthouse is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. Historic McKinney was a short walk and we loved checking out the stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!
Ryan was a great host. We needed to rent his Airbnb for a business trip and it exactly met our expectations. The space is very quaint and Ryan and his family are very friendly. Would stay there again.

We're right in the heart of historic downtown McKinney. Take a stroll through out neighborhood to see beautiful, wooden craftsmen homes. We're just over half a mile from the square, which bosts countless shopping and eating establishments. We're happy to recommend our favorite restaurants, bars, shops, coffee and more!
We're less than a mile from HWY 75, so getting anywhere in Dallas is quick and easy (if traffic cooperates).
You'll have one dedicated parking spot inside our fenced backyard. If you need parking for a second car, let us know, and we'll figure out a plan. We may be able to get both your cars inside the fence.

My wife and I live in McKinney with our two children, Henry and Hattie. Georgia works as a teacher at our children's elementary, and I work at a local marina on Lake Lewisville. We like traveling, listening to old records, sitting on the porch, being outside and meeting new people. We particularly love Latin America and have both spent some time living down there.
