This was such an amazing house to spend a long weekend at. We fell in love with the place and had a great time.

Took a trip with coworkers to Athens. The place looked nicer in the photos. I’ve never been to this area before so wasn’t what I expected, but we only stayed for a night. The place had some dead bugs on the floor and house just seemed really old. It was fine for staying for a day, but don’t think I’d come back to the town or place.

The host was gracious and responsive. That’s about the only good thing I have to say about this place. The entrance is tight, and the parking is tight and difficult to navigate unless you have a small vehicle. The host communicated before the state that the central heat and air was not functional. We went ahead with the stay anyway, so it’s not fair to hold that against them. But you should be aware that it may or may not be functional There were a lot of other issues with this property. The bathroom is really tight and poorly designed. We were able to make it work, but it would be a problem for anyone that isn’t nimble. Various lights didn’t work, the shower escutcheon was rusty, the lampshades were broken, the chair seats were loose and came off if you moved the chair, one of the beds had some of the slats underneath broken, etc. Too many items to list. The listing said no pets, but there was a dog cage and dog bed laying on the floor in the dining room. Etc.
