The Jasmine cottage is a fabulous accommodation, in a gorgeous village. The cottage decorated with taste and pride. Comfort and relaxation guaranteed. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The house was warm and smelt nice. Tidy garden with absolutely beautiful views. Nice neighbour, too, who we had a chat with. Everyone there seems house proud and people look after their properties. The pub which is 2 minute walk away was lovely, cosy and served good food. Great service and a quiz was a bonus for us.
The cottage is lovely and in a beautiful part of the world. However there was a lot of dust in the property most of the mugs in the cupboard had chips in them as well as finding a satsuma on the floor in the kitchen. The vent in the bathroom that says don't touch needs a good clean and black mold on sealant on bath. The beds didn't have mattresses protectors on them and the duvets on the double beds seemed small. Please note that there is a neighbour that is not happy that this property is an Airbnb. He made that very clear during our stay and I would not recommend this property for a single woman staying on their own. The cottage does have sky and a selection of games.
Lovely cosy cottage. Good kitchen with plenty of utensils, pots and pans - quite compact / small but its a cottage so expected. Loft bedroom and stairs tricky for tall people with low ceilings. Property well kept with minor upkeep / refresh needed. Nice garden at the back for kids to run around with view of the fields. Village is very nice with good pub and a great public playground behind it for kids. Checking listing accuracy with AirBnB / Host before travel: High chair was listed but only provided on communication to hist with help of AirBnB; BBQ not present on property and not explained in guide within the property - only after departure informed this is apparently in a shed located in neighbouring garden. Information book for cottage and local area extensive and informative. Has information on local produce supply - didn't know before arrival but good option vs. supermarket delivery for all goods.
