We loved the house, pretty far from Mountain City. Jenelle was a great host. We had a small issue with the bathroom upstairs so we didn't use it. We did host dinner and there is not much in the kitchen as far as essentials goes, bring foil, plastic wrap, baggies. Parking is high above the house with stairs going down not accessible if disabled in any way. Walk down to the dock is down about 100 stairs down. All in all it was a beautiful house and location!

This was beautiful location for fall and on the lake with your own dock! The home was spotless and has all the conveniences of a home with a cabin feel. Everything was as Jenelle described - definitely take the time to read thru descriptions as she includes everything to consider -including some great recommendations. Thanks for a great time!!

IDEAL fishing getaway. Super relaxing. Here's how we fished it the last week of September. Redworms on a panfish hook 18" below a bobber, right by the dock. - We caught ~100 sunfish and a few largemouth . - The fish loved the riprap -- especially as the sun warmed it. GREAT midday fishing. - Couple little smallies with whole crawlers and ned rigs (green pumpkin) around/under the dock. The cove has a ton of woodpiles and laydowns. The water is wonderfully clear, so clear that fish in shallow water see you from a loooonnnnng way off. So be subtle. Conversely, the bass in this lake love clacky, noisy lures. In the home cove, we caught largemouth on Hula Poppers, Blue Shad Rattlin' Raps, Senkos (green pumpkin) that we intentionally banged up against trees/docks/rocks, and crawlers. Around dusk we trolled bombers (20' depth) along the shore (20'-35' depths) between our cove and the next. When they're there, they're stacked up -- smallies, largemouth, & spots. Great place!!!
