Perfect base for exploring Cornwall, some great local amenities and the local ice cream parlour is delicious, would definitely return in the future

Excellent cottage and so well equipped. Great to have a bath in place rather than just a shower to. Close to local amenities. The locals were so friendly and helpful . We have had a great stay thank you. Would recommend the 90 minutes history walk from the community centre.

The cottage was conveniently located right in the town and in easy walking distance to the train station. The kitchen was well equipped for its size and there were even had a few xmas decorations (we stayed over xmas). The host was friendly and flexible with check in and out times. However, the cottage was advertised as non-smoking but it smelt very strongly of smoke and so did everything we owned by the time we left. We had the upstairs windows open all the time and got heavy duty air freshener but it only helped a bit.

Rudge Cottage is an idyllic little place and in a superb location. The village of Lostwithiel has everything you could need. The Cottage was spotless, and although it appears small from the outside, the downstairs and bedrooms are surprising spacious. There are plenty of beaches within a short drive away, I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again
