This was a perfect place for us, as were staying with young kids and very elderly parents. We could drive the car very close to the house so it was accessible for my mother, and the pub/restaurant is right next door. Easy to reach Norfolk attractions by car. The house was spacious and very clean. Kids loved their cosy bunk beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse. The staff were friendly and the lodge was lovely and clean. The restaurant on site served really nice food at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge and wished we could have stayed longer. Well equipped inside and a beautiful location. Food in the boathouse breakfast and dinner was amazing.

Wow, what a hidden gem! The service was exceptional, the hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. Its a beautiful place, the photos don't do it justice at all. I can honestly say its the best service I've ever received. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bittern Lodge at The Boathouse, our first trip post lockdown. The lodge was super comfy and very clean. The location is amazing by the lake and we saw 2 spectacular sunsets. We had a lovely lunch at the pub. We felt very welcome and the whole communication throughout the booking process was great (we had to reschedule a couple of times due to covid regulations). So pleased we were able to stay here and hope to be back soon!
