I worked night shift when I stayed here and had no problems sleeping during the day. The house was clean and the area was quiet, I felt completely safe there. Brooke was a great host and her dog was very well mannered and quiet :)

Brooke is absolutely excellent host. She will make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. She is always attentive to anything you might need. She is a pleasure to talk to and her dog Cooper is an absolute sweetheart. Her house is beautiful and in a great location if you want to drive in to Johnson City or experience the mountains around Erwin.

Brooke has added thoughtful touches in each room and the bathroom, a couple exits north, Johnson City approx. 20 minutes north, and Asheville about 45 minutes south. Brooke has added thoughtful touches upstairs in the guest rooms and bathroom, as well as an assortment of teas, coffee, and other goodies for her lodgers in the kitchen. She added additional refrigerator space to accommodate her guests as well. It has also been a blessing to have access to her washer and dryer. And there is a large fenced-in backyard with outdoor patio table and chairs. Her dog Cooper has been a delightful housemate too, and he and I enjoy walking together in the neighborhood. He often joins us in the living room as we enjoy watching Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps on the Smart TV. I also have a smaller Smart TV in my room. The town of Erwin is charming with convenient access to several grocery stores and shops. I understand there are several hiking trails nearby too. Johnson City is 20 minutes north, and Asheville, NC, is about 45 minutes south.
