My partner and I were highly satisfied with our equinox weekend lodge stay at Maxine & Terry’s. We met Terry upon arrival and departure who is very approachable indeed - he gave us plenty of local advice while leaving us to our own devices. The lodge itself is so lush and very cosy - the sofa is one of the comfiest we have been on (it’s hard to arise from it), the bed is all you could want, and the shower is fab. The surrounding area is very lovely and the regular pub goers very friendly. ;) The spot feels fairly private, though it is overlooking some other houses which are slightly on a hill - not so close as to feel intrusive , just something to be aware of and for full privacy, just draw the curtains! Thank you Terry & Maxine, this is sure a place which we would happily return to and recommend!

This treehouse style lodge was beautiful - from the interior design to the surroundings. It was the perfect escape from a busy city life, with pretty walking routes on your doorstep. Terry greeted us as we arrived and was extremely welcoming, he gave us advice on where to visit locally and even helped us change our car tyre. The lodge itself was warm, cosy and spotless. 5 stars all around
