Fantastic accommodation, spotless, spacious offering a home from home feel. Jonathan and Sarah offer a personal touch on arrival with home made bread, scones, Jam, cream and a bottle of wine!!
Fantastic, clean, high-quality accommodation and very friendly and welcoming host. Home-baked bread, fresh goodies, chocolates and beautiful Christmas decorations (and tree!) were waiting for us on our arrival, which was a lovely touch and really helped to get us in the festive spirit. Jonathan has thought of absolutely everything: the cottage was so well-equipped that we were able to prepare and cook a full Christmas meal with all the trimmings. Nothing was too much trouble and Jonathan was only a phone call away if we needed anything. He even turned up with jump leads for us when my car would not start on our morning of departure! The beds were super comfy and we all slept really well. The bedrooms were huge and each one had its own TV, so no disputes over what to watch each evening. We enjoyed going to feed the pigs on the farm and went for a lovely walk to the nearby village. This is a beautiful part of the world and there is so much to see and do, all within a short drive. We could easily have stayed another week and can't wait to return. Thank you, Jonathan for being such a great host and for all of the thoughtful touches that made our stay so enjoyable. We will certainly be back!
A lovely place to base yourself to explore The Tamar Trails , Dartmoor and Cornwall
A lovely cream tea was waiting for us on arrival. We met with Heather who was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. The Cider Press cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean with a real cosy and homely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend staying here and looking forward to going back again.
