The experience of staying in a dome was new, however many issues, had we known, would have booked elsewhere. Staff was very friendly/view was spectacular. The negatives.... you have strangers walking past your dome regularly, we were woken up at 5am by Roosters and an impact drill at 8am. The shared bathroom was very unclean, the garbage was overflowing and the toilet bowl was very dirty. We did not use the shower, it was also very unclean with hair. There were long dark hairs on my blankets that did not belong to me as I am blonde. It rained 2 days so we had no lights at all in our Dome after dark( solar powered mini lights)... We had to book and pay $55 to use the hot tub located at our dome. we were told someone would come empty and refill clean for our use and nobody showed....we had to empty it ourselves of dirt/small debris and refill with nearby hoses. had conflicting information about a fire ban, then saw many other camp sites with fires. Too much for too little.

This place has super friendly staff, and is very clean, and cute my only complaint would be how expensive renting the hot tub it.

Cabot Shores was absolutely breathtaking and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! We arrived late and they waited up for us, greeted us with a smile, and helped us to our dome. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone. I hope I find myself on the Cabot Trail again one day so I can spend more time exploring Cabot Shores :)

An amazing find along the Cabot Trail! Would definitely recommend the Beaver Dome - you can see the water from the dome! One of the more private domes too. The evening bbq was a great touch and we loved being able to have a campfire on our site too. Would definitely recommend to anyone driving around the trail!

A great place to stay in Cape Breton! Amazing views, accomodations, and food. Highly recommend.
