Brenda and Michael are friendly, down-to-earth, and responsive hosts. Their property is beautiful; I enjoyed sitting out back on their swing and looking out over the landscape. A popular walking trail to an old fort site by the water is easy walking distance away. No other guests were there while I stayed, so I had the whole upstairs to myself. The little sitting area was perfect for me to get some needed work done. A hot plate and mini fridge are provided in the guest’s area, and that was all I needed to prepare my simple meals. As mentioned in other reviews, there is some traffic noise in the early morning, but it was not a big deal for me. I used earplugs during the night and slept very well. I felt quite comfortable there, and I would stay again.

Quaint house and we felt right at home. Neat and clean, close to the wedding venue, the ocean and lighthouses. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Brenda & Michael are great hosts. Thank you so much for hospitality. Brenda & Michael's home is in a great location. So much to explore. We loved Marshall Point Lightouse, Port Clyde fishing village (sad that it lost beautiful building due to fire), Drift Beach, Owls Head Lighthouse, Owls Head Museum of Transportation. We drove also along the coastline. We liked giantTrolls in Botanical Garden in Boothbay, and old bridge and waterfall in picturesque Camden's harbor, Rockland Breakwater Lightouse at the end of a mile long pier, Knox Fort and PNO Observatory (tallest public bridge observatory in the world). We wish we had more time to explore all little harbors and rocky shoreline of Maine.

Brenda and Michael were incredibly welcoming to their home, provided a thorough tour of the home and were available for any questions. Brenda was also able to provide recommendations on what to do in the area which proved to be extremely helpful.
