A super, secluded detached holiday house, perfect for families and friends, with plenty of space to relax and unwind, and only a short stroll away from the 'hub' of this popular seaside town, a seven minute walk to the Quay, and twenty five minutes to the beach. Tucked away down a quiet lane behind the beautiful Buttlands Green, Heron House is a hidden gem, enjoying a sunny, south facing aspect, a large garden and, what everyone wants in Wells, private parking! The house is immaculately presented and offers comfortable and well-equipped holiday accommodation, ideal for a short break or longer stay at any time of the year. Downstairs there is an impressive bespoke kitchen/breakfast room, where everyone can congregate and enjoy sociable meal times, and a choice of two delightfully sunny rooms to relax in - a sitting room and a garden room which both overlook the garden. There is plenty of storage space for boots and coats, as well as a laundry room, utility and cloakroom. Upstairs (the stairs are quite steep) there are three bedrooms (king size, double and twin) and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Heron House is an ideal family house but also perfect for couples and friends to enjoy. Wells-next-the-Sea is a superb destination, with everything you can possibly need right on the doorstep - independent butchers, bakers, fishmongers and greengrocers, home ware stores, boutiques and gift shops, two supermarkets and an excellent selection of good eateries. And, of course, don't forget the stunning beach with its colourful array of beach huts, and the bustling Quay where you just have to try your hand at crabbing and some of the best fish and chips around. Additional Information The parking area is strictly only for use by those who are staying at Heron House. Sorry, no pets. Please note, short breaks are on a request only basis at Heron House

Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular destination around the year. A charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest.
From the picturesque harbour you can either walk, cycle or drive to the spectacular beach.
Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack, and perhaps some clothes shopping.
The Wells Beach Bus offers a service connecting the town and the beach – operating a route from the football club car park to the roundabout at the beach end of Beach Road. Dogs are also welcome aboard. The bus will run from April through to October each year.
Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square,The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings. There is a bustling high street with all kinds of independent shops, some lovely tearooms and great gastro pubs and restaurants. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn, The Globe and The Victoria at Holkham.
A visit to Wells wouldn't be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish and chip cuisine.
This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers, and Holkham Hall is just down the road and well worth a visit.
You can hire a bike from the quayside and spend a day exploring the coastal paths, or perhaps talk a walk around Holkham Park with its herds of deer and picturesque lake teeming with wildfowl, adjourning for a well earned bite to eat at The Victoria afterwards.
