This is a wonderful experience for an active/ adventurous couple or anyone who wishes to stay out on the water and explore all that the florida keys has to offer, please note that you will have to park your car and take a 30 second walk to the kayaks, From there you will paddle out a short distance (2-3 minute ride) to the private anchorage where the aqualodge is moored at. You must be physically able to enter and exit a kayak to and from the boat to enjoy this experience. However, we do offer a ferry service to take you back and forth with our boat if you would like, we understand it can be difficult for some to travel back and forth In a kayak and we want everyone to be able to enjoy this wonderful experience. we have the prices set accordingly due to the struggles we face, keeping this boat cleaned spotless for our guests and topped off with gasoline and water for all the amenities, currently our one night stay price is significantly more than our two, + night stay price because it is very difficult for us to come out and clean, refuel, and top of water tanks with water on a daily basis, if you would like to stay with us for one night the price will reflect this, however we offer a generous discount for anyone staying more than 1 night. On board you will find almost every amenity that one would normally find on land, generator , ac, 48” smart tv, fridge, hot water shower, full kitchen with utensils, full size bed, board games, card games, dvds , propane grill on the front deck, 2 kayaks, and most importantly a private , quiet place to relax and unwind with your significant other and enjoy what the keys are really all about. Just a short kayak ride from the houseboat are two wonderful restaurant bars, in case you don’t feel like cooking after a long day out on the water. Additionally, there is incredible fishing all around and nearby the houseboat, common resident fish species are mangrove snapper, schoolmaster snapper, redfish, tarpon, snook, and occasionally Goliath grouper! Pls feel free to message me if you have any questions, but pls note you must have a fishing license to catch and keep LEGAL FISH IN SEASON. it is your responsibility to keep up on the fish seasons and dates that they are open Pls note, there is usually a wonderful breeze since we’re so close to the ocean, I generally recommend running the generator at night for the amenities, as well as all the windows and doors do open and have screens. included in each nights stay is one complementary tank of gas to run the generator all night. There is extra gas on board if you wish to run the generator for longer periods of time however I only ask that for what ever additional gas you use, you will be be charged the same price we pay for the gas at the marina for the rec- 90 gasoline. We do not up-charge or anything like that, I want to make sure all my guests are comfortable during there stay. The houseboat is always cleaned spotless and we hope you enjoy your stay with us!
