The Hamlet Annex is just as described. A delightful, well designed and well equipped sanctuary. Ruth is a very responsive host. I look forward to a return visit.

Great little place overlooking the countryside surrounding Matlock bath. Incredible views and had everything we needed as a base for exploring. Walking distance from Matlock Bath (be mindful it's up hill from the station so get a taxi if you have lots of bags) we walked it fine with a large rucksack each though. And walking distance into Matlock itself (about a mile or so). Ruth the host was very helpful and quick to respond. would stay again and recommend to friends.

Had a fantastic couple of nights at the annexe. Great location and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It had everything you needed, and we felt Ruth went the extra mile with extra touches. We will definitely be back

Ruth's place is perfect for a weekend away. It's clean, well equipped and the view from the balcony is hard to beat. I had a very pleasant stay.
