We are Airbnb fans and Anne's place was the best we have stayed in. After busy days exploring the Big Island (and there is a lot to explore), we loved coming back to the serenity of Anne's place. The kitchen, which we used regularly for breakfast and dinner, had everything we needed and Anne had it well-stocked with the cooking basics. The bed was wonderful--we both slept great throughout our 12-day stay. There is a nice sitting area to put your feet up and unwind in the evenings. Anne and David were wonderful hosts throughout our stay. United lost our luggage and David was incredibly helpful in being the liaison with the local courier service that the airlines hired to deliver our luggage when it finally arrived. The Big Island lives up to its name. Anne's place was very well situated between the beach activities around Kona and the more nature-oriented activities around Volcanoes National Park and Hilo. We appreciate everything Anne & David did for us throughout our stay.

There is only one thing to complain, at the end you have to leave 🥹 We loved to stay there, the house beautiful, the kitchen very well equipped, the huge garden wonderful and the surrounding calm and peaceful . Thanks Anne

Wood Valley is a beautiful part of the Big Island and Anne and Davis live in possibly the best location you can find. It’s extremely quiet, there’s a huge garden to explore, wonderful views across the valley. It’s near neighbour is a peaceful Tibetan Temple and the Kaʻū Coffee Mill and cafe is down the road.
