had a day / night at ed hideaway ... just what the doctor ordered . come home very relaxed. hideaway had everything we needed , we had a little BBQ around the fire pit ... watched the Little lambs in the fields in the morning with a cup of tea . had a great night's sleep as bed was comfy. Ed was a great host very welcoming , answered all questions . will be back again .. thanks Ed ☺️☺️

We had a lovley stay at the hideaway! Such a peaceful and hidden location surrounded by lots of sheep and fields, we enjoyed a cosy night in with the fire on🥰I would definitely recommend paying the small extra for late check out as we had a slow morning making breakfast and enjoying the views! Our little pup had a great time and it was super handy to have a shop / small pubs a 5 minute drive away. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

The stay at the HideAway was everything and more, lovely surroundings, very quiet and tucked away! Very close to market towns, with amazing coffees and would definitely recommend "The Crossed Keys" pub if you're staying at the HideAway!! Thankyou!

Die Schäferhütte war gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Edward hat uns nicht zu viel versprochen. Was die Sauberkeit angeht mussten wir Mängel bei den Kochuntensilien feststellen. das war etwas schade und auch der Preis ist etwas zu hoch engsetzt.

Ed’s Hideaway was perfect. Quiet and rural location, fantastic wildlife (hare, owls, pheasants), and a short drive away from the lovely village of Alston. The Hideaway has everything we expected and needed with a few extra surprises (oil, seasoning, spare tins/sachets food, etc). Beautifully hot and powerful water supply, lovely log burner (small kindling supply - BYO logs - we bought some from the local garage). Lovely walks/hikes, would recommend the Ashgill Falls circular from Garrigill. Lastly, there’s no phone signal whatsoever!
