everything was great! though it was OK for our group, the only access to upstairs bedrooms (2) was by a spiral staircase. kitchen was a little tight, but all else was great and if we had similar size group (6) again, we'd love to return!

The setting is amazing - peaceful lakefront/mountain view and comes with your own little beach. Good restaurants and bars within a 10-15 minute drive. Tons of great hiking and boating all around the area/short drive. You can be in Montreal in under an hour. The space itself is comfortable, well-appointed and clean (minus a few cobwebs here and there - it is a cabin.) 3 things I would have wanted to know in advance: The stairs to the loft (2 bedrooms and a bath up there) are steep. There are a couple of markets nearby, attached to gas stations. Best to buy your groceries before you get onto the islands. Or drive 30 minutes to the closest store. "Hero's Welcome" will deliver kayaks to the house! (4 day minimum rental).

Great location to enjoy a time-out close to water! Very cozy cabin with about everything you would need. It was great for our group of 6 friends enjoying a weekend away from the city center.

Pops Lake House is a hidden gem that offers a perfect retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The cleanliness, impeccable organization, picturesque yard, and awe-inspiring view of the lake all contributed to a truly unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this place enough and am already looking forward to my next visit.
