Clayton is a quintessential town, relaxed and inviting, with a "Norman Rockwell" vibe. We hope you’ll enjoy all Clayton has to offer during your stay! There are beautiful walking trails, state parks and picnic areas just a few minute drive away. The local grocery store is 1/4 mile away and it’s only a 5 minute stroll to the down town area and the St. Lawrence River. Enjoy shopping, dining and site seeing in town. There are fantastic shops, restaurants, cafes, churches, cocktail / tapas bars, yoga studio, art galleries, museums, and a beautiful river walk. Make sure to visit the largest freshwater museum in the country, the Antique Boat Museum. Take art classes at the Thousand Islands Art Center or stroll to the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel to enjoy a cocktail on their outdoor veranda overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River! There is a beautiful wooden park located around the corner from the home in the center of the Village. There are tennis courts and a basketball court next to an amazing children’s wooden park. A large grass area borders the park and every Thursday from 10-4 there is a farmers market there. You’ll find fruits and vegetables, honey, maple syrup, handmade crafts, and much more. Take a swim off the dock at the pavilion while you watch the sunset and the ships go by! Kayaking, biking, paddle boarding and boating the River are major pass times for the locals. Clayton is like the show "Cheers", where everyone knows your name.

The local grocery store, farmers market, shops, churches, restaurants, cafes, parks and much more is located very close to the home (5 minute stroll or less). No need to find parking downtown. There is a private driveway, room for 2 cars to comfortably park. There is free parking on the street as well.
