Broombaulks Farm Bungalow is a delightful, detached cottage resting in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire sleeping eight people in four bedrooms. Set across one floor and hosting four bedrooms, including three doubles and a single with trundle, along with a shower room, kitchen/ diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. The kitchen contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. For entertainment, guests are provided with a TV with Freeview, WiFi and a selection of DVDs. Outside there is off-road parking for three cars and a front and rear garden. The central heating is powered by oil and is included in the rental price, along with bed linen, towels and power. The property is pet-friendly but please ensure you bring leads with you. Please also be mindful that smoking is not permitted at the property. There is a shop 7.8 miles and a pub 7.6 miles away. Broombaulks Farm Bungalow is a lovely dwelling for a rural escape to the Scottish Borders. This property accepts 2 well-behaved dogs.

Excellent! We stayed over to celebrate new year, loved the place, it has everything you need, it’s spacious and very cosy, but the most important it was very clean . The host was exceptional, very friendly, great communication. Location is great for walks and you have everything you need near by. Will happily recommend it and will definitely come back in the summer to experience more of the surroundings 🤗
The stay at this holiday cottage was wonderful. The sitting room is very comfortable with lots of seating. There are some lovely views and there are some lovely little touches like having a nightlight in the hall for night time lavatory visits. The hostess, Brenda is exceptionally charming and helpful, so much so that if we'd been staying longer, I would have invited her to share a meal with us. The Chinese takeaway in Jedburgh is very good value for money and the food is delicious. This is a wonderful spot if you need to visit Edinburgh, take the train from Tweedbank and enjoy the amazing views while you travel in comfort. Yes, after staying at this cottage you will feel refreshed and happy.

The mediaeval town of Jedburgh is a modest, peaceful town located 10 miles inside the Scottish Border, halfway between Newcastle and Edinburgh. Jedburgh, nestled in the beautiful Borders countryside, has a lot to offer visitors. Nearby, you'll find attractive shops, pubs, and award-winning, family-run restaurants, as well as historic sites like the interesting Jedburgh Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots House, and the majestic abbey, which stands above the town and dates back to 1138. The Teviot, Tweed, and Jed Rivers offer good fishing, and there are 21 excellent golf courses to pick from. The Borders also provide some fantastic walking and cycling opportunities, including along St Cuthbert's Way, a 62-mile trail between Melrose and Lindisfarne that passes through Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre. Melrose, Kelso, and Peebles are all within a short drive and are fun to visit at your leisure.
