In the fall and winter seasons, the swans are plentiful and majestic! From the incredible kitchen to coffee on the deck or at the water’s edge, come relax and enjoy our little piece of paradise. Enjoy this spacious and family-friendly 3-bedroom lake house cottage located on Balsam Lake. Fully renovated, modernly styled in pine tongue and grove, and sleeps 8. All on the main level, 2 baths, dishwasher, washer/dryer, tv, and wifi. In our fully finished kitchen, you will find all the luxuries of home: a Keurig coffee machine with a dozen complimentary cups, toaster, crockpot, microwave, air fryer frying pan, pots/pans, fridge, stove, blender, and all dishes. Provided with the rental are dish soap, dishwasher pods, reusable dish clothes, washer pods, bounce sheets, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and bars of soap. Bedsheets, pillows, and blankets are also provided as well as your towels. Pack a towel for your outside adventures!I The living area overlooks the outdoor patio and spectacular view of the canal. The master bedroom includes a king-sized Captain’s storage bed. The second bedroom includes a double-sized Captain’s storage bed. The third bedroom includes a set of queen-sized bunk beds. All beds are fitted with an award-winning Endy Hybrid mattress and finished with a wall-mounted fan above each bed for airflow and comfort. The wall of floor-to-ceiling cupboards in the back hall provides your dresser space. Outside, enjoy our deck overlooking the beautiful canal and create memories around the firepit. Always check the area for the updated fire ban. This is usually posted at the Lock as well.

Amazing host.they were very responsive and halpful in every manner. The little instruction booklet was awesome to give us an idea of the town. The property was extremely clean and nice. we loved our stay. Will love to be back for more visits 😊
Thank you very much to our most hospitable hostess, Christine, for providing your guests with a beautiful, comfortable and well-thought out vacation space! Your cottage had everything we needed for the entire family. The gourmet kitchen was stocked with every convenience one can imagine including air fryers, crockpots, mixers, blenders, just to name a few. All appliances were almost brand new and sparkling clean. The Welcome Guidebook awaiting us upon arrival included clear and concise information on the cottage, local attractions and even recommendations for restaurants and take-out options nearby. We were only a short 15 mins drive to the scenic locks at Fenelon Falls and our children loved the splash pad at Graham Garnett Beach Park at the locks. Our weeklong stay at Christine’s cottage flew by and we look forward to staying there again in the future!
Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our time at Christine’s cottage. The home was cozy, in pristine condition with multiple little touches throughout (eg nice linens, quality appliances, supplies and toiletries galore). Although not on a lake, the private property with canal view/access (to kayak and fish), beaches nearby and outings to Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls, made for a nice location with lots to do. My kids have had many vacations to compare and they absolutely loved Christine’s cottage (ages 10,15,18).
We had the most wonderful stay at this cottage! The views were absolutely beautiful and there were plenty activities for us to do with all the games/kayaks/paddleboards provided by Christine. The cottage is newly renovated and was extremely clean both inside and out which was a huge plus and the location was truly perfect. This stay was everything we could have asked for and more!
