Wonderful place, nice walk to an incredible beach. Layout of place was great, nice amenities. Very responsive onsite contact, highly recommended.

The house was exactly as advertised and stocked with everything we needed. The grounds at The Point were clean and beautiful and the pool area was very well kept. Isabel was very friendly and quick to answer any questions. Ive visited several Playa Avellanas several times and it would be tough to find a better place to stay! Pura Vida!

John's house in The Point in Playa Avellanas was a great home base for my family of 4 which includes a 3 & 7 year old kids. The house is exactly as described and matches the photos so what you see exactly represents what you get. The Point is a cool little community with a shared pool surrounded by a handful of homes. We really liked that there was common area as we met cool people and our kids made friends with other kids so had play buddies. We also walked to the beach each day which takes about 15 mins down a dirt walking path, but even the 3 year old was able to make it without any issues. The local property manager Isabel is a really great person and was quick to help with the couple of messages I sent asking for help with something or a restaurant recommendation. I totally recommend John's house and we will for sure return.

Good location, 10min walk through a bit of swamp/jungle or 20min along the road to the beach. Bit of an ant problem initially when we arrived, but raid on hand did the trick. AC wasnt working right the first couple nights, which made sleeping difficult, but a tech fixed it for our 3rd night. Place could have been cleaner, there were cobwebs/dead moths in some of the ceiling corners in multiple rooms. Furniture was very comfortable, couple nice large TVs, fridge with water filter was nice. Place is gated w 24/7 security, shared pool was fine, nothing special...half of it is really shallow, half 4ft deep and nowhere near enough lounge chairs, etc for the number of units sharing it. Overall it was a good place for the price, especially for those that value the gated aspect of the community.
