First, the people responding to the issues were kind and quick. That I appreciate. The second day I shook out the front rug to get the trees droppings off of it and found old dog food under the rug. That grossed me out so I took the time to sweep, vacuum and wash the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. The pictures of the back deck were nothing like what was in person. My 74 year old father spent over an hour cleaning to make it "sitable" for us. The grass should have been cut knowing I was bringing a dog and for us to use the firepit (we did not afterall). The smoke detector in the master bedroom started beeping Saturday morning and stopped on its own. Thursday morning the smoke detector in the stairs to the basement was beeping and would not stop until it was taken down. Reading it, it expired in November, 2023. HUGE safety hazard that should have been taken care of before our arrival!!!!!!!!! The keyless entry needs explicit instructions for those that don't use that.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable, and the backyard was relaxing for us and our dog. This is a quiet place to recharge when visiting the Harpers Ferry area.

Positives great location, awesome yard on a very quiet lot, comfortable beds and good appliances. This place has great potential. I did not like the communication. Or lack there of. I had a few issues concerning cleaning (shower not clean) and sent pictures to guest servicesbut I never got a response. There were other things we kept finding But this is not a bad house it could be a great house with some attention (cleaning and a dehumidifier), And you need to have a better system for reporting problems and people who care and listen to concerns.
