I really liked this place. The view of the valley is AMAZING. Quiet, peaceful, private neighborhood in the hills above Larkspur. The host was very responsive and courteous. Check-in was a breeze. This airbnb is basically the lower floor of a larger house, but the owners vacate the property when guests visit, and we had total privacy. My only complaint was that some of the furniture could using updating, such as the couch -- not very comfortable. But I would definitely visit again.

We loved staying in this 'tree house', where we could hike right out the door, enjoy the sunset over Mt Tamalpais and explore the towns, beaches and hills North of the Golden Gate. Driving through the Redwoods in the valley to the house was a surreal experience! The terraces were beautiful, and our daughter loved being able to crawl around and play with all the toys that were available. The only negative thing was that the neighbors were getting a new deck built, which meant construction noise for all 7 days that we were there. But they must finish at some point, so we would absolutely recommend this place.

We absolutely loved the place. We stayed 5 days. We had Peace & solicitude with the fresh mountain air & atmosphere surrounding us. The cottage is perfect for a getaway, we washed our clothes, enjoyed wine on the deck. Saw some TV. They have all the amenities of home and made feel so comfortable. We communicated with host and he was prompt and courteous. We will be back , it’s not Goodbye, it’s till we see you again. Thank you so much for allowing us to experience this. PS: we read the tips the host left and the restaurants are spot on, we did work out at Anytime Fitness nearby. Everything is close by.. we sent to Pacific Coast 1 , Sonoma, Napa and San Francisco, Muir Woods, Russian River Valley and saw a Train concert !!

It was very disappointing to arrive at what you think is an entire home/cabin but actually a guest suite or basement of a family home. There was a car in the driveway which made me think the cleaners were there late but no just the family car left with no explanation of the property, why it's not an entire home, if they'd be home during your stay. Beyond that there were a few issues like the utility company cutting power for 2 hours, the toilet running because the refill valve wasn't working or the sink handles that unscrewed. Overall, the property is very beautiful, amazing views and neighborhood. It seems like some kinks need to be worked out to justify the current nightly rate. An excessive list of cleaning checkout tasks don't come off very welcoming and make me wonder where my cleaning fee goes.
