We had a good time around Basingstoke, and the apartment was well located in the centre and was very easy to get around. We did have some disappointment as the apartment was not the same as advertised, and missing a few features that were shown in the images (such as a bath). We looked through the photos advertised and the one we received looked much smaller, although in general it fit the purpose we do feel we have been slightly mis-sold. I would expect this from a hotel, but I feel on Airbnb the rooms should be as shown rather than stock images. Lots of little bits included such as breakfast, milk, tea and coffee. It was very clean, and included a clothes rack and ironing board. It was missing a few items that would have made the experience better, such a sponge for washing dishes, batteries for the TV remote, and a dust pan and brush to sweep the floor as it was hardwood flooring. We also opted for parking and cost £12 for two nights, which I feel was reasonable. The instructions for booking the parking was slightly unclear, but it was nothing to difficult to book it in and the staff seemed very nice when I called them. The rating is not a reflection of the property, but for me, it does not feel right on Airbnb to advertise a different apartment to the one you're receiving. Is this allowed per Airbnbs rules?
