Your home away from home on the Mendocino Coast. A full gourmet breakfast and farm fresh eggs are included each morning you stay with us. We are committed to a traditional B&B experience; including a scrumptious breakfast, round the clock coffee/tea/coco, snacks and food extras, and personalized attentive service. This 1890's residence has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. It's Just steps away from downtown shops, restaurants, North Coast Brewery, Glass Beach, and the Skunk Train. Please read "House Rules/Manual" prior to booking. The first light of day illuminates pastel gardened wallpaper and gives a soft warm glow to the brass of your Victorian bed. This room has a queen size bed, a love seat, and a private bathroom with shower. It is at the back of the house.

Loved this place so much. Coffee was amazing!!! Breakfast was homemade quiche, roasted potatoes and delicious spring salad with strawberries and seeds. Can’t get over this perfect charm of an inn right in the middle of Fort Bragg. Walking distance to great shops and food downtown. Bed so comfy, feather down comforter and cozy pillows. This was a great place to stay. Exactly as described! Great food, nice and clean hot tub, within walking distance of great food, and scenic views, & stores.

An older home clean a bit period dated with good location to shops and beach. Christine is over the top friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious. Bedroom small. Had our own bathroom which is a plus for us. Overall a nice stay passing through heading north.
We spent one night here and we definitely would love to come back. The breakfast was amazing! She even takes care of any dietary restrictions. She let us out back in the morning to go see all her chickens and it made me feel like we were staying with friends. Beautiful place.

The Country Inn is close to everything! North Coast Brewing Company is just a block and a half south on main street. Just past that, the entire down awaits - shops, restaurants, the Guest House Museum, Tattoo Museum, and art galleries. We are also just a few minutes' walk from the famous Glass Beach, and the new Coastal Trail. McKerricur State Park and Russian Gulch State Park and the Point Cabrillo Light House are also close by and are guest favorites. Other nearby activities include; hiking, bicycle rental, horseback riding, photography, fishing, crabbing, whale watching, abalone diving, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, the Redwoods and the Drive-thru Tree.
There is no public transportation on the North Cost, though there are services for wine tours. Upon request, we can also recommend some local "uber" like drivers.

I’m a California native. My mother and I own and operate a Guest House and Bakery on the Mendocino Coast. I raise chickens, have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Mini Aussie, and enjoy cooking, photography, gardening and music.
