布拉格堡(Fort Bragg) · 整套民居 · 7室8床7.0卫 · 可住16人 · Weller House Historic Coastal Mansion and Ballroom
This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The Weller House was built in 1886 in the historic and storied coastal town of Fort Bragg, California. The 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom main house & 3rd floor ballroom make the perfect gathering place for small retreats and group gatherings of friends or family members. You will have access to seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, as well as a library, breakfast room, kitchen and 900 square foot third story redwood ballroom. An assortment of tea and Local Black Oak coffee will be available to you and your guests as well as a water machine that provides sparkling, still and hot water. The kitchen will be stocked with basic pantry items (salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.) and cooking equipment. Also enjoy our front gardens, porch, and third story deck off the ballroom. There is radiant floor heating throughout the house. Several rooms feature clawfoot or Jacuzzi tubs. We provide small batch shampoo, conditioner and body wash made by CA company Fable Soap Co. There is WIFI throughout the house, as well as some books and games. We are located right across the street from the Skunk Train Depot, 2 blocks from downtown Fort Bragg, a 5-minute walk from Glass Beach and the new Coastal Trail. A short drive to everything that the Mendocino Coast has to offer. DOGS- We love our dog friends and welcome 2 well behaved dogs per booking. Please note that other dog guests that are staying in the tower rooms may be on the property during your stay. NOTE: there is an extra $25 fee per dog that will be charged once booked.
We didn’t know there was an ant problem. Also the leak under the kitchen sink, my 21 month old granddaughter slipped and busted her lower lip open. The ball room closet’s door was off the hinge so it fell to the ground and as you very well know it’s a really heavy door.. and the list goes on.. felt like someone lives upstairs because a door was left open and we can totally tell that it was slept in. Very frustrating!!
Our entire family (11 adults and an infant) gathered for a family reunion and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Every couple had their own room with their own bathroom! It is certainly an older “home” so there were plenty of quirky things (sometimes finding a light switch was like going on an Easter Egg Hunt) but we loved having a place big enough for everyone. Add to it the reality that fantastic beaches and places to eat were walking distance away!! If we do another family reunion in Fort Bragg then the Waller House will be our first call.
The bedrooms are great! It’s an old house so we expected some issues but the ceiling leaked during heavy rain on my sleeping daughter. Someone left ladders, extension cords, tools, etc. all over the porch for us to try to step through in order to get in. We finally moved everything out of the way since we had children with us.
The location is the perfect home base for exploring the Mendocino coastline, riding the skunk train through Northern California’s redwood forests, or discovering downtown Fort Bragg. A couple blocks away from Glass Beach and the newly opened Coastal Trail, and centrally located for all that the Mendocino Coast has to offer.
Just two hours from Santa Rosa/Sonoma, and three and a half hours from San Francisco and/or Sacramento. We have off-street parking available for our water tower guests. While we do not currently offer an EV charging station, there are several options available nearby.
Fort Bragg is very walkable, with many EXCELLENT restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance.
