We had a lovely stay at the house! Everything is super clean and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The house and the property are even bigger than what it looks like on the photos. Dolores is a very helpful host who loves to help and offer support. She showed us around the house and the property and explained the area to us. Thank you!

This is not the typical Airbnb/VRBO where the owner turns over the keys and you are left on your own. Dolores lives across the driveway and was aware of our comings and goings. She seemed to enjoy chatting with many from our group. There were eleven of us staying at Dolores’, several who had traveled from other states. We were ill at ease with Dolores’ hovering around. She actually came over once while we were at the table having dinner and she saw through the window that we were having dinner, but still entered and sat down supposedly to get the names and phone numbers of each person who stayed there. She said it was for insurance purposes (?) We found this invasive of our time. There were so many knickknacks and pillows and stuff in the bedrooms, that there was little space for us to bring suitcases into, nor space to set our toiletries. The house and grounds are beautiful and the hot tub is nice.

Dolores is a lovely lady that took care of us during our stay and was very attentive to anything we needed. Her place is very beautifully and thoughtfully curated and allows your mind to travel to the different places from which she’s travelled and brought back pieces to decorate the home. The location was magical; the house is surrounded by the woods and it allows you to completely disconnect and unwind. Our entire group truly enjoyed the immersive experience at Dolores’s wooden home and we all cannot wait to go back!! ps: check out the angel backyard and the fire pit

The house is beautiful and HUGE! Our crew loved staying there. Dolores is a wonderful host, very attentive and incredibly kind. She prepared snacks for us upon arrival and even brought homemade pies mid-stay! A wonderful experience overall. The gardens are so nice and the hot tub under the stars was incredible.

An expansive home in the middle of the forest with all comforts and delights you can imagine! I highly recommend this house for a family reunion or retreat. There’s not much I can say in this review about the space that’s not already been eloquently captured by the owner’s description or the pictures of the listing. Everything is accurately described, the house was very clean, the kitchen was more than fully-equipped, the hot tub was large and relaxing, the fire pit was great fun for s’mores with the kids, and the pond and overall landscaping were a delight. All that are things one can expect from reading the house description and looking at the photos. What was above and beyond expectations was the hospitality, kindness and generosity of our host, Dolores! We enjoyed meeting Dolores and were grateful for the time she took to prepare for your visit, show us around, and do her utmost to ensure we had a wonderful stay. There’s more to appreciate than I’m able to list here: her early and clear communication, the recommendations for things to do in the area, accommodating our late arrival, her welcome wine & cheese, warming up the hot tub for us prior to our arrival, offering hand-picked fruit to us, and so much more. We had all the privacy we needed, and yet felt safe knowing we can reach out to her with any question. Thank you for everything, Dolores!
