We had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful location. Tamara was so helpful and responsive. May was a great time of year. There were no bugs, sunshine every day and the perfect temperature. We hiked and swam, did some birdwatching, and explored the ocean.

This was our 2nd time staying here and it just gets better! We discovered a new beach, caught a couple fish, hiked to Chimo, relaxed, swam and just loved every minute of our 6 days. Great place to come if you want to really let go of the outside world and just enjoy every moment in a beautiful place in nature. Def requires flexibility and a carefree spirit because it’s not easy to get in and out if but that’s the best part!! Plus Josefat (and his dog Lorenzo) are super helpful and just lovely

Wow, epic spot! The scenery is amazing! We saw whales on the regular and the sunsets were stunning. I was expecting mosquitoes but there was none. We had the beach to ourselves pretty much all the time. All amenities worked well. Rustic yet really comfortable. Tamara was exceptionally responsive to all our queries. We were lucky to be able to be dropped and picked up by boat because the waves were small on days we arrived. However most days the waves would have made it impossible to get on or off a boat which would have required a walk to Chimo Chimo is about 40min to an hour by walk so take that in consideration. Chimo is cute and very small. We got a whole fish at the restaurant AND were able to buy fresh fish to cook ourselves. Ask for Domingo (Pingo) in Chimo if you want to buy fresh fish. I'd recommend earplugs as the waves are pretty loud for sleeping. Oh yes, when we visited, they had Starlink with extra fast internet which was a great bonus. Would visit again for sure!

We were 2 parents and our 2 adult daughters and we stayed 6 nights. We all agree, maybe 4 nights is perfect. The setting for the palapa is AMAZING!!! Getting there by boat is an adventure complete with 2 humpbacks breaching! Arturo, the boat captain, is a very skilled boat captain. The waters were rough on our departure from Chimo, yes we had to hike over with 2 burros, but it was all part of the experience. As stated in Tamara's descriptions, be prepared for power outage. Due to cloudy skies the solar was out for 2 days...that means the refrigerator, lights, power to charge phones/cameras. We lit many candles, had flashlights and enjoyed being off-grid. The outdoor shower is THE BEST. We had no problems with bugs, I had 2 USB Thermacells and citronella incense sticks to use when the USB was down!! The hosts were/are amazing and ready to help with anything in an instant!! We bought wine from them and one night she made an incredible shrimp dinner for us. Highly recommend.
