Groups of up to 22 guests can comfortably stay at The Beach Pad with 7 bedrooms, 12-15 beds and 6 full baths. When you rent The Beach Pad you will have 4 individual studio apartments and the 3 bedroom, 2 bath Surf House. The Surf House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the first floor of The Beach Pad and sleeps up to 8 people. Perfect for groups and families, this home comes with a private gated yard, outdoor grill and fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the breezy enclosed patio area, or marquesina, with two hammocks. The 4 open floor plan loft apartments are located on the second and third floor and sleep up to 4 people each. Every loft has their own private bathroom, kitchenette and balcony with outdoor seating. The rooftop deck at the top of the property is great for group gatherings. Enjoy views of the waves at Sandy Beach and the surrounding dense, lush greenery. Birds will serenade you in the morning and coquis will greet you every night! The Beach Pad is the only property in the Sandy Beach area that has solar and a commercial grade generator, 2 backup sources of power, in an effort to ensure our guests’ comfort during the frequent power outages in Puntas. The Beach Pad was an awesome location, steps from the beach and right next door to some great food and drink options. Alan and Eileen responded within a few hours to the one request we had which we really appreciated.
Such a great place to stay. Walkable to a couple beaches, a really fun restaurant/bar just steps away, and friendly neighbors. We went as a family group of 14, and it was so nice to have space for everyone but also have lots of private space when we'd had enough of each other. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and responsive. we needed help for one thing or another a few times, and generally got answers each time within 2 or 3 minutes! For a host that's not on-site this is pretty exceptional. The bar does make some noise until about midnight, but with the windows closed and the air conditioner on it didn't bother us at all. I suppose if you're looking for absolute quiet this might not be the place for you, but for it added to the "lively vacation spot" vibe which we enjoyed. the 6-year-old and 10-year-old in the group slept just fine. This is a place I'll come back to.
Excellent place for family groups. Better than the pictures. There are restaurants, attractions and the beach nearby. We rented on low seson, but still have fun. We rented the entire place and had a great time!
We were a large group of parents and teenagers, this house is in a great location steps from Sandy Beach and the there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time together and alone. The hosts were fantastic too!
13 of us enjoyed three nights at the Beach Pad and loved the spectacular nearby beach. The five spaces were all clean and comfortable with wonderful design touches. The hosts and on-site property manager were very friendly and helpful. We were able to easily access Guajataca State Forest to the north and Cabo Rojo to the south from this location.

Rincón, the ‘town of beautiful sunsets’ is also known for its record-breaking waves, relaxed culture, friendly inhabitants, and delicious food. The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental conveniently located in the center of Puntas, just steps to Sandy and Pools Beach. Next door is the popular Kahuna Burger Bar. They have great burgers and it is a popular spot to go for a drink at night. The well-known Tamboo Bar and Grill is just down the street, right before Sandy Beach, and has beautiful ocean front dining. There are also boutique shops, a mini-mart, a bagel shop, sandwich shop, a coffee and smoothie shack with vegan options within walking distance! Although you can stay in Puntas, we recommend you go for a drive and explore downtown Rincón where you will find many more fantastic restaurants, shops, and bars. There is plenty to see and do in and around Rincón, like catching a sunset from the lighthouse or taking a day trip to the beautiful Gozalandia waterfalls and hiking area, not to mention all the beautiful beaches. We provide our guests with a digital guidebook full of our personal recommendations for restaurants, bars, day trips, tours and more! During low-season, hours and availability may vary for some restaurants and businesses.
From The Beach Pad you can walk to 3 beautiful beaches, multiple restaurants and bars, a coffee shack, catch a yoga class on the beach, get a massage or rent water sports gear.
If you would like to explore beyond Puntas, renting a car is highly recommended. We can provide you with contact information for local taxi services if you need airport, local or day-trip transportation.

Hi, our names are Alan & Eileen Piñeiro, and we are the proud owners of The Beach Pad! We launched our vacation rental business in 2015 when we purchased the original 1950s home. Since then, it has gone through various phases of renovation. Today, the main house has been updated, and we added 4 modern studio loft apartments above it to serve individual guests or larger groups wanting to take over the entire property. We live our lives by the motto “Choose Happiness,” and running this business in this beautiful piece of paradise while getting to know so many wonderful people from all over the world is a dream come true! Our family is originally from Rincón, making this a beautiful full-circle experience. We put a lot of love into every detail, hoping that all of our guests will feel at home at The Beach Pad!
