We all had a lovely stay, it was quiet and peaceful and the enclosed garden was great for the dog. The house was lovely and well equipped. Thanks for a nice stay.

The heating broke down while we were there, which is one of those things that occasionally happens, however, the host responded very quickly and the problem was fixed. We weren't staying for a holiday but we found it convenient that there was a good pub for food nearby in Garlieston We found it a bit difficult to find the place and would have liked some directions to help us

A nice cottage in a nice setting. Secure garden was ideal for our dog and the cottage had everything we needed to feel at home. Enjoyed some nice, but cold, weather so explored nearby Garlieston and Rigg Bay. Recommend the hive cafe for nice coffee and cakes.

This was probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. A great, unique location - especially for anyone interested in railway history. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of worktop space and is well equipped. To have a dishwasher on holiday is a real bonus. There is a large drying area outside on the old railway tracks if you do any washing. The lounge is tastefully furnished with a great tv. French doors lead to a garden area with a table & chairs. Perfect for sunny evenings. The bathroom is modern - my only minor issue was the shower wasn’t very powerful but this is not a huge problem. The bedrooms are nicely decorated & have good quality linens. Dogs are well catered for - with a large enclosed garden and lots of local walks. It’s about 25 minutes walk into Garlieston where there is a great beach and you can get a cuppa from the newly opened Hive cafe. I really enjoyed staying here & hope to return sometime soon.
