The cottage needs a good deep clean. The kitchen drawers and shelves were sticky with food, crumbs and mouse droppings when we arrived. We wiped the most used cupboards down but continued to have mouse droppings every night. The bunkie mattress had dirt and food crumbs on it that we cleaned and the floor was unswept. The bunkie mattresses are very uncomfortable with prominent springs when you lie on them. This cottage is best suited for six guests maximum. There are only 7 forks, six chairs around the table and enough comfortable beds for 6 people. The upstairs couch smells very strongly of wet dog. The pull out couch bed in the basement is very uncomfortable. The basement bedroom smells strongly of mouse excrement. There is a lot of mouse activity in the basement. That being said, the property is beautiful and very private. The back deck was lovely to sit on and the screened in area perfect for evenings and rainy weather. The lake is beautiful and easy to access for swimming with only a few weeds to deal with near the shore. We rented a small fishing boat from Comanda Lake Resort which is close by. The owner had great tips for fishing the lake. There is no coffee maker but a kuereg, so come with pods. There was a small coffee press as well. Dishwasher soap is also not provided.

We had a great week long stay with our kids, family and friends. The lake was calm, quiet and warm. Full of fish. The lake is weedy, bring your water shoes if that bothers you, or just slip in at the end of the dock. Christina was very responsive to questions and helpful. Bring bedding (pillow and blankets), in addition to linens as these were not provided at the time of our visit. The cottage was very clean and cosy. our 2 families slept comfortably in different floors. The 4th bedroom and bunk beds are in a Bunkie not in the main house so kids slept on the pull out couch. Lots of sleeping space. Location in is great but is remote. Suggest having a solid tank of gas before arriving even if you need to travel further to get it. Thank you for a great week!

This is our second year staying at Christina and Frank's and another great stay. The cottage has pretty much everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation. Host communication is excellent.

The cottage was very comfortable for our family's needs. The location is great in a quiet area with its own beach. The host is very nice and excellent with communication often answering messages within minutes.

Warm clean water, sandy beach, quiet neighbors, great kayaking...and bass, pike and pickerel right off the dock! Very friendly and responsive hosts.
