Great hosts and lovely place. I would go back. Very family friendly
We had a fabulous stay. Plenty of room for 2 families of 4 and 2 dogs. The whole place was really well equipped, everything had been thought of. Beautiful S/SW facing garden which got the sun. Walking distance to Croyde beach and Croyde centre with plenty of great places to eat and drink.
The cottage is in a lovely location but communication prior was poor and it was hard to understand what was available such as travel cots (which was really important with twin toddlers and when travelling so far as we wanted to know what to pack). The high chair available is very dated with no strap so be mindful of this with littles who like to try escape! We had to strip the beds before we left which I thought was a little much given what we’d paid. The place itself is a great size but if sharing with adults, do be mindful of the size of the second double room being very small with a very springy bed that we found uncomfortable. There is a good room for children with large bunk beds. The main appeal of the property is the large garden and location of the property for Croyde and Croyde beach. Star gazing was a highlight in the evenings! We found there was a lot of clutter and dust and the house was very hot in the extreme heat wave.
Enjoyed our holiday. Good location near to lots of dining options and close to beaches.
Lovely cottage. Very comfortable. Beautiful private garden. Great location. Unfortunately a lot of noisy building work going on next door, which was a shame. But we had a great stay none the less and would highly recommend. We would certainly stay there again.
