We had an Amazing trip! The house was comfortable and the location was absolutely stunning. The wildlife was abundant and our tours with Yeri were excellent. Sunsets on the beach and a turtle hatch occurring right next to us were memories we will never forget. We enjoyed delicious home cooked dinner nightly and could not be more thankful for the hospitality!!

We were looking for a rainforest adventure and that is what we got! We saw so many different animals. We really enjoyed the night hike with Yeri and saw a tapir and kinkajous as well as a cat-eyed snake and caimans. The hike to Corcodova with Yeri was hot but well worth it. We saw coatis, spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys, a poison dart frog as well as a bat curled in a banana leaf. The swim in the river at lunch was so refreshing! We also went on the bird-watching tour and Primary Forest hike with Yeri as well. He is so nice and knowledgeable and spots wildlife that we would have missed. Take advantage of Yeri's tours! We enjoyed walking around the property and nearby area and saw macaws, toucans, squirrel monkeys, and spider monkeys to name a few. I loved hearing the waves crashing on the nearby beach and waking up to the howler monkeys. We had Tatiana cook all our meals, and what a treat it was. She is so pleasant and a wonderful cook!

We had a great stay at Scarlet House. The whole area is incredible and so wild and pristine. The manager and tour guide Yeri was incredible. He has lived in the area his whole life and knows the wildlife and vegetation like the back of his hand. Our time there was truly precious and we will never forget it.

Wonderful house! It is very remote and takes 1,5h from Puerto Jimenez on a gravel road but it‘s absolutely worth the trip. Scarlet house is wonderfully placed in a green garden and offers stunning views into the forest. Yeri‘s tour were also fantastic and Tatiana‘s food delicious. The sunrise lagoon kayaking was magical!

Justin’s and host Yeri were both responsive and helpful. Yeri and Tatiana are extremely knowledgable about the area and super friendly. They helped orchestrate several things for us to do, including hikes, horseback riding and a waterfall adventure. Yeri loves the area and has a passion for the animals and vegetation there. They also prepared a meal for us and it was fantastic. There is no cell service there but the WiFi was reliable at the home. This stay was excellent for Me and my 4 kids looking to unplug and escape busy life. The beauty of natural Costa Rica all around you! Pura Vida!
