We absolutely loved our 1 month stay at Habu. The apartment was super spacious and had the most stunning view of the beach. Despite being on a busy beach & road, it feels like you’re nestled away and can escape the busyness. James was super responsive and very helpful with recommendations for Sri Lanka! We felt very comfortable reaching out to him. The best part of our stay was definitely the housekeeper, Sunethra. She is an absolute gem of a lady and made as feel at home, including making us the occasional (most delicious) meal. We will miss her the most!
Honestly, such a perfect place, which we will continuously keep returning to.
Great apartment right above a great bar/restaurant The Shack and right on the beach. Could watch the kids surfing from the balcony. Lovely people working in the area from the Shack staff to the surfing schools. Beautiful sunsets. Great amenities shops etc close by. The apartment was better than the photos and had everything we required. Sunethra came in every 3 days to do a quick clean and also changed bedding once a week. The only thing is, I think the kitchen could do with some updates, the cooker and some utensils need to be updated, but if you not into cooking then it's fine for the basics. Overall we had a fantastic time here, it's a great beach getaway.

HABU (Hook A Brother Up) was founded in the southern town of Galle, Sri Lanka. Established in 2016, HABU is a casual, free-spirited menswear surf label designed for the old saltys who have spent the better part of their life on the beach and for the brothers and sisters who are just getting started. The environment and sustainability are super important to us here at HABU. As such we do what we can by not buying plastic water bottles, avoid plastic straws and where possible use eco-products in our apartments.
