Kristin was an excellent host and always very quick to respond to questions that we had! We originally rented the place for 5 weeks during our son's medical treatment at UVA hospital. We needed to extend our stay an additional week and Kristin was great about it!

My wife and I had a long list of complaints, but here are just a few big ones. The master bedroom carpet was flooded when we arrived. The hosts weren’t apologetic about that at all. The kitchenware was in terrible condition (warped pots/pans, rusty baking sheets, broken can opener, etc.). There were a lot of ants and spiders. The neighborhood didn’t feel very safe for my wife and kids. The host was very hands off, so we had to deal with the co-host to resolve issues/concerns. And the co-host was a miserable person to communicate with. The co-host misrepresented the size of the rental by saying it was 1800 sq ft, but it’s really only 1000 sq ft. She couldn’t admit her mistake and characterized me as a dishonest person for pointing this out. All of that being said, the bed was comfortable, and the floors were very clean (this mattered to us because we had toddlers crawling around). And when a handy man came to fix issues, he was very helpful and pleasant.
