We enjoyed our stay at Jared and Caroline’s place. The location is excellent and close by Idyllwild, which has a lot of shops and restaurants. The house is a bit old but everything works. Our kids loved all the toys and it was perfect with a kids room for them to sleep in. Caroline was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Thank you for the stay :)

We had a lovely weekend at this super cool house in the trees. In addition to the comfy and stylish furnishings (not to mention great toys and an outside play area if you have a small child!), this house is chock full of great books, vinyl records and DVDs. We cant wait to come back to the Hideaway!

We stayed here for 12 days just to really enjoy Idyllwild. It was perfect. A total quiet hideaway. We loved sitting in the many beautiful spots around the property, hiking into the forest trails from right outside, working and eating in the gorgeous dining room - and watching movies on the projector! Our favorite part, though we loved it all, was the sky lights just above the bed in the master. We could stargaze from bed!!! We felt right at home.

The Hideaway was a great fit for my family. It was even better than we anticipated. There was plenty of space for everybody to have privacy and comfortable community space for family time. The space was todder/small child friendly with lots of appropriate toys and play space inside and out for our 5 year old. It was cozy without being small. I appreciated the collection of records and the designated working space. The whole place felt calm, peaceful, and confortable. The host provided clear instructions and a helpful guide to the surounding area. Everything was easy to find and use.
