We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Moody Cottage. Jennifer has done a wonderful job of sharing the history of the property. I can imagine all the families that have shared memorable times at this great summer cottage. It was quiet, comfortable and homey. The kitchen was well stocked with a wide variety of cookware and I loved the metal, double drain board sink. The house is spacious and provided areas for our grandkids to play, for everyone to relax when they wanted, work remotely when they needed and I found a beautifully lit corner where I did a little watercolor painting. There’s lots to do in the area. We loved hiking Giant’s Stairs and Cliff Trail. When you get hungry check out “Iris Eats” and “Wild Oats”. Make sure you check when sunset will occur because the views from the screened front porch are absolutely amazing. I will plan on staying at Moody Cottage the next time I’m near Harpswell.

Jennifer and Mark were wonderful hosts. The cottage was spotless upon arrival and we had no problems checking in. We were in contact a few times regarding information about things to do and Jennifer was super responsive and wonderful to communicate with. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing week and tons of lobster from across the street.

We have stayed here back in 2013 and these are new owners. Place was just as we had remembered it and still had the letters from our children in the dresser!! This is a family reunion area that we come to every 2-3 yrs and we couldn’t wait to stay at the cottage instead of the inn. So happy that the new owners kept the charm and history from 10 yrs ago! We will be coming back every Yr or so now that our kids are having their kids now. Owners are very responsive and place was so clean which is my pet peeve!! I even cleaned before we left because I felt it needed to be left in the condition we came in. A++. Super charming and a great memory that our family keeps reliving. Thank you!
