This is a really special place. It's got a huge yard, creatively landscaped, with so much privacy. The outdoor deck with hot tub and rocking chairs facing the ocean were amazing on a sunny February day in beautiful Northern California. We love baths so of course we loved the big tub. It was clean and cozy. Kitchen was really nice and well equipped to cook in and everything else was pretty much as the review stated. Simple and easy process. Thanks for sharing your home with us :)

Great place, very serene. Would stay here again. As the other reviews say, beware that it has a tub only and no shower.

We loved our stay here! It's such a beautiful place, both inside and out. The outdoor area is huge with many places to sit and enjoy the view, from the patio swing, to the lily pad, to the balcony. The ocean view and sound of waves (and occasional sea lion) was so peaceful. The inside of the house was perfect--comfy bed, clean and well-stocked kitchen, peaceful balcony, and relaxing bath tub. I especially liked the mix of cats and meditation decorations. I could have left my books at home--they have such a great selection to read through. It's close to so many beautiful hikes, beach walks, and good food but it's also so relaxing to spend a night in, using the hot tub or watching Netflix. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Place is a 10/10. Peaceful, serene, with ocean and Forrest views overlooking a garden. The town of Gualala is great too and locals are very friendly

Utopia By the Sea is a beautiful and clean oasis. The hosts are amazing and have great communication. I can’t wait to come back!
