Punta Uva is filled with diverse and fun things to do, which makes it the perfect option to fully enjoy your stay. Daytime activities are mostly centered around the water. Surf's up early in the morning just steps away from the cabin, you can also enjoy kayaking in a nearby river, hiking the many trails or going on a romantic horseback ride on the beach at sunset. The Jaguar Rescue Center is only 5 minutes away from Casa Viva and it's a must see, you can't leave without visiting this wildlife conservation center!

There is a saying in Punta Uva, if you did not take a bicycle somewhere you were not here, so just grab a bike and ride along!
There is one street that connects Puerto Viejo, the main town situated at 4.7 miles from Casa Viva, and Manzanillo the last town in that street which is 3.4 miles from the property. You can ride a bike or walk around this street, where you will find many restaurants, coffee shops, and a local supermarket. You can also walk the beach path that connects from Manzanillo to almost all the way to Puerto Viejo passing in front of Casa Viva in Punta Uva. This path takes you through the beach as well as under a wonderful tropical forest, there are many small paths that will connect you to the main street. There are some parts that can be done on a bike. If you find yourself in need of cash, banks are located only in Puerto Viejo.
Within the property we have an Interbus stop, which is a transportation company that services the area and anywhere in Costa Rica.
