The Barns in Bakewell is a stunning venue featuring modern design, clean lines and a contemporary feel throughout. Located in the heart of Bakewell you have the luxury of a spacious holiday home for up to 10 guests. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 per dog for the duration of your stay. We can accept up to 2 dogs. Nestled in a secluded position in Bakewell town centre, this stylish and modern holiday barn is a real hidden gem, tucked away down a little lane, you will find this superb spacious home in one of the most famous towns in the Peak District. What was once two derelict stone barns, have been cleverly converted by adjoining the two buildings together to create a spacious home for groups of up to 10 guests to enjoy a truly unique self-catering stay. The Barns has the following home comforts: - 4 fixed double bedrooms (1 on the ground floor) - 1 ground floor bunk bedroom (suitable for adults) - 2 stylish bathrooms with shower, bath, washbasin and WC. Further WC on the ground floor - Modern and airy open plan living and dining space, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden - A fully equipped modern kitchen with lots of space to cook. With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, double under the counter fridge, freezer, dishwasher and French doors leading out to the garden. There is also a separate utility room with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. - Outdoors you have a gorgeous and well maintained private garden which is laid to lawn with flowering borders. The patio is furnished with outdoor lounge sofas and BBQ facilities available for use from 01st April through to 31st October. - The Barns is a perfect base for cycling in the Peaks as there is a secure storage shed for approx 10 bikes and a hose to wash down muddy wheels —perfect if there are keen cyclists in your group. - Private parking for 5 cars means you can park up for your entire stay if you choose and explore Bakewell and its surrounding villages by foot or bike due to fabulous central location. The Barns is dog friendly and we can comfortably accept 2 dogs here. There is an additional £30 charge per dog, please just let us know if you wish to bring your dog(s).
