Overall the accommodation itself was great. Really clean and comfortable. Great location for access to the beach, funfair, train and lots more. Really easy to find with parking opposite. Good communication from the host too. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the entertainment venue until after 9pm, which with a 7 year old we couldn’t do. Yes it does say people booking privately can access this after 9pm, but it also says entertainment passes can be purchased, which actually isn’t the case. As it said they could be purchased I lead this to believe we could buy them to go in before 9pm, which you can’t. The only thing you can purchase is swimming passes. One of the reasons I’d booked is so we could have onsite entertainment, so it did spoil things a little. I’d just recommend the listing be a bit clearer for future guests. All in all if it hasn’t of been for that I’d of been happy to book again.

Great location on dawlish Warren perfect for families.

The girls and I loved our stay at Dawlish warren, there was plenty to do in the area and if we travelled further a field we would catch the train. The accommodation was great for our needs and Rachael is an excellent host who was always available if we needed her help. The Welcome park was very good and the entertainment (9pm onwards) was by far the best of all the sites in Dawlish Warren. We discovered quickly that Golden sand site would allow you to visit their site for children’s entertainment as did the other parks resort site next the welcome site. The chalet was perfect for my two little ones, it was very clean on our arrival and everything was as described. Rachael had even provided small touches like crabbing sets, biscuits and wine. I would recommend the stay to anyone who wished to take their away and wanted to book a private chalet.

Great little place in a great location. My only negative is that it would be a little small for a larger family. But for me and my daughter it was fine. Host was very attentive and check in/check out was simple. Would definitely stay again

Chalet was a little cramped, we were a family of 3 adults and 2 children, advertised as 5 berth, although the chalet can sleep 5, the living space and moving about is very tight. . Good position, right by club ( if you like that) buying passes for pool and club can be a bit of a problem as priority is given to welcome guests opposed to private guests. Parking good. . Would be more suitable for 3 opposed to 5ppl
