A gorgeous location on the edge of the Gila National Forest. Per the instructions in the casita, we took a little hike up the hill behind the casita -- we could have walked a long ways! So beautiful, and we saw several wonderful birds. Jennifer was also a very responsive host. There was some issues we confronted -- minor but a bit troublesome. Jennifer was both very apologetic and responsive and did everything she could to make things right for us. All in all, a positive experience.
The Sapillo Creek Escape Glamping Casita was an absolutely perfect rustic, serene, cozy camp. Gorgeous forest, quirky and fun little towns nearby, lake, streams, rivers… Quiet, stargazing, wonderful well water. Didn’t want to leave!
Awesome, private, quiet location. Tons of local hiking, including right out the back door up the hill for great views. Solid fishing lake 3-4 mi away. Serene. Very pretty property.
Awesome place. Extremely satisfied
This is a beautiful little one room casita in a gorgeous location. The furnishings were so interesting. Lots of beautiful pottery and natural pieces and fabrics decorated the room. The bed was comfy. My only concern was the outhouse which was manageable for me but could be difficult for a taller and/or larger person. I really enjoyed the natural surroundings. Lots of hikes are nearby and my favorite hot springs are a half hour away (take a right before doc Campbell’s Post). Lots of adorable baby goats are on the way in the springtime. I had an amazing time.

I grew up in the DC metro area and I love travel (Bilbao, Spain is my favorite destination), reading, writing, cooking and welcoming fellow travelers to share my humble home. I've been raised in the DC metro area and I have worked and played in Washington DC over the last 20 years so I can definitely provide suggestions for restaurants and activities on and off the beaten path. I love animals and have a few of my own and would love to meet yours when you stay in my humble abode that provides the quaintness and simplicity located outside the big city but with all of the necessary amenities you need, when you travel to my home away from home. My style is simple and comfortable and well, lived-in. Like a favorite pair of jeans. That's how I like to travel and host. I look forward to meeting you!
