We loved the beautiful historical FarmWe made lots of great memories and enjoyed learning about the memories of those who came before us. We were cosy in the sun room and by the fireplace !

We loved our stay at the Terre Haute Manor. We were in town for four days and found this house to be the perfect place to relax during our down time. It is spacious and plenty of room for my family of five. We loved looking at the antiques and reminiscing about our grandparents homes. The farm is quaint and charming. We liked hanging in the gazebo by the pond and listening to the birds and crickets. We saw families of deer in the field. The house is fully stocked and we did not lack anything needed to prepare a quick meal. The location is perfect as the town of Midlothian has everything needed and plenty of restaurants from which to choose. All within 10-15 minutes, some closer. Teresa was very responsive with questions. We did not have any issues with our stay. We will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in the area.

We stayed at Terre Haute Manor when we came to visit my daughter, who lives in Richmond. There were 5 of us there, and we all felt very comfortable. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to allow for privacy. Sadly, it rained for most of the time we were there, so we couldn't get to walk around as much as we would have liked, but we still were able to say hello to the horses and donkeys, and we saw so many deer! The house is beautiful, the surroundings are beautiful, and we would definitely recommend Terre Haute Manor to anyone else who was interested in staying there!

This is a sprawling space with so many nooks and crannies. The antiques are lovely. It's isolated but less than 10 minutes from "town." We stayed for 3 nights during an east coast road trip. This is not a place I would stay in for much longer, however. There really aren't comfortable places to sit. The antiques are beautiful, but there is not a cozy space to read a book or relax. The sunroom is nice, but the furniture is hard wicker. The smells in the house are overpowering (potpourri) as well as mustiness. If you have someone who is very sensitive to smells (as I am), it will be challenging. I also think it's just hard to keep a home like this sparkling clean. There is a lot of clutter, and every surface in the kitchen felt sticky when we arrived. There was a $155 cleaning fee yet we were asked to do more cleaning at checkout than any other AirBnB I've ever stayed in. All in all an interesting experience but could definitely use some upgrades for the price.
