What a great place. The backyard was great. We played corn hole and connect four. The house is charming. The bedding was so comfortable. Best of all was the set of sharp knives… a rarity at short term rentals!

Great little spot. Kids couldn't hear me snoring from the other bedroom, which certainly helped our trip. beautiful neighborhood with great access. The only thing missing was the checkout sheet, but there was an empty sleeve in the binder, so I'm thinking the last guest probably just popped it out for check out, and it got tossed. she communicated the procedures to us right away when we mentioned it was missing. Colleen was tremendously responsive and accommodating. Also, while we had plans out and about, there is corn hole and giant connect four in the garage and plenty of backyard space for the family to enjoy the beautiful weather at home.

If you want to hang out at the beach all day, this place is perfectly located. Easy 3-5 minutes to Seabright beach. Another 5 minutes to the main beach. Nearby village has several restaurants and a market with one of the ubiquitous e-bike rental stations if you want to go practically anywhere in Santa Cruz. 10-15 minutes walk to a dozen great restaurants if you go away from the beach. Clean and nicely arranged house. Nice outdoor seating area with a grill and fire place. Colleen even has a variety of beach gear available and a wagon to pull it in. Colleen is super responsive if you have any issues and seems really chill. I had some issues (my fault) with the key and she helped me fix it right away. If you’re driving and have a wide vehicle, you might be challenged backing out of the driveway, because it is narrow. Honestly, that’s the only con I can think of, and it’s not really a big deal. Would recommend as highly as possible.

best place that I've stayed at, including resorts. the whole house was spacious and clean, even though the floor plan doesn't look like it. I absolutely loved grilling and the Santa Cruz community. additionally, the host was above and beyond anything that you could expect. she had everything setup perfectly, and it was all extremely intuitive. can't say enough about the stay there. I'd rank it 11 out of 10 if allowed
