We were a group of grandparents, parents and a toddler - and the cottage was an absolutely brilliant home base to explore the Peaks. Emily was always willing to help with recommendations and instructions. Having the family-friendly facilities of the play barn (which was BRILLIANT) and the outside play equipment made it easy to keep everyone happy. Being walkable to the pub (yum!) and Thor's Cave (beautiful!) was a bonus. Can highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was plenty of room with a couple of kids and the games room kept them well occupied in the evenings. The walk to thors cave was easy and it was great to not have to drive anywhere. Would happily stay here again! Thanks both

We had such a lovely time in Thor’s Cottage. Emily and Tom were the perfect hosts, warmly welcoming us. The space was lovely and cosy - perfect after a day out walking. The kids (and adults!) loved the play barn, which was fabulous when the weather wasn’t great. Gorgeous location, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Thanks so much for a lovely long weekend.

Lovely setting and cosy, comfortable home perfect for a family getaway. The playbarn was a real bonus, and the proximity of the Airbnb to Thor’s Cave made walking with the dogs to a landmark we wanted to see, whilst carrying babies, really easy! Emily and Tom were friendly and helpful and the place met all our expectations, would definitely recommend 😊

Emily and Tom were fantastic hosts! Lovely welcome with the fresh eggs, milk and biscuits. They were very helpful throughout our stay including when we needed baking powder! The cottage had great views and was in a perfect location for walking. Pub and cafes within walking distance too. Clean and cosy cottage. We couldn’t have asked for more.
