Lovely neighborhood. Food was good in restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Pool was dirty first day but then cleaned up nicely. This wasn’t Jianjun’s issue. Rather the hotel’s.

Jinnah‘s place was a great find! It was hard to find places for a medium-sized group (5), but she had a small cabana in a larger complex available and it was great. Not too new, but clean, comfy, and within a 5 minute walk to downtown San Ignacio. Jinnah was very responsive and the staff were very friendly. Also, the property has full breakfast available that was delicious, a bar, and a great pool! The pool restrooms are broken though. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend Jinnah’s place!

We didn't actually stay in the casita because it wasn't available but Jinnah helped us secure a deluxe room in the main building on the property instead and credited us the difference in room prices. The hotel room was on the smaller side once you got the 3 of us and our suitcases in there, but it had two double beds and an updated bathroom, which was sufficient since we were usually there just to sleep or shower/change clothes. The air conditioning was appreciated and made sleeping comfortable despite the hot temperatures in June. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful--even helping carry our large suitcases down the stairs from our third floor room--and was our main contact during the stay but Jinnah did check in to see how things were going. Breakfast on the property was convenient, good portion sizes, and tasty (we loved the fry jacks and jam that came with many meals). And the pool was a refreshing way to cool down after spending the day exploring. The location of the property was great for our needs. It was a short walk to Burns Ave for shopping and booking our tour to ATM cave as well as several local places to eat. More than one staff member recommended "Hannah's", which is actually Ko-Ox Han Nah (Let's Go Eat). We had a rental car and were able to easily drive to Calico Jack's for some ziplining and then Xunantunich the next day. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and this property is worth considering if you're staying in San Ignacio.
